Creation. Millions of years? Six Days or Six Ages? Did you know that most Christian leaders teach that God's creation took millions of years for Him to form? There are others who say we just can't know how long it took, or that it doesn't matter anyway. It does matter, and we can know for sure.

We conclude our series that asks "What Is Christianity?" for non-believers who are wondering what makes the Christian faith unique when compared to all the other religions in the world. For believers, this will also be a good review in apologetics. In any event, today, we continue with our series and look at more truth. What is Christianity? Last time, we explored the glorious reality of how you can have a personal relationship with God Himself. Today, we'll wrap things up. So, what is Christianity all about? Well, it's about the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, about recognizing that you’re a sinner in need of God’s saving grace, about receiving atonement for your sins through repentance and faith, about gaining the free gift of salvation for eternity in the Lord’s presence, and about being able to have a personal relationship with the very Creator of the Universe Himself. What is Christianity? It's the only way to know God as He intends, and the only way to live for Him. Today, we'll review another aspect of that definition, and it's the one that says...IT'S EASY TO APPRECIATE WHY TRUE CHRISTIANITY IS SO VIGOROUS AND ACTIVE.

We continue with our series that asks "What Is Christianity?" for non-believers who are wondering what makes the Christian faith unique when compared to all the other religions in the world. For believers, this will also be a good review in apologetics. In any event, today, we continue with our series and look at more truth. What is Christianity? Last time, we said that it proclaims that men and women can only be reconciled to God through His Son Jesus Christ, but that once they are, then it also proclaims that men and women may know how to live for God. Today, we'll touch upon some of the blessings and byproducts of being reconciled to God, but we'll answer that age old question, 'What is the meaning of life?', or 'Why am I here?', or 'What is the purpose of life?' to your satisfaction. So, what is Christianity all about? It's about the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, about finding atonement for your sins through repentance and faith, and about being able to have a personal relationship with the very Creator Himself. What is Christianity? It's the only way to know God as He intends, and to live for Him. Today, we'll review another aspect of that definition, and it's the one that says...HAVING BEEN RECONCILED TO GOD, MEN AND WOMEN MAY NOW LIVE FOR GOD.

We continue with our series that asks "What Is Christianity?" for non-believers who are wondering what makes the Christian faith unique when compared to all the other religions in the world. For believers, this will be a good review in apologetics since, lately, I've been struck by the need for good, sound Biblical teaching on many subjects central to our shared faith. It's not just the lost who are looking for answers in this life. Many Christians want to know what the Bible has to say about God and other pressing issues, but they fail to go to the source, and prefer to rely instead on public opinions, or what seems right to them, rather than the immutable Word of God to shape their worldview. That's a problem, but I welcome the challenge, and I pray that I Want To Believe Radio will help answer some common questions while addressing some common objections along the way. In any event, today, we continue with our series and look at more truth. What is Christianity? Last time, we said that it proclaims that men and women can be reconciled to God through His Son Jesus Christ and we talked about what that actually means. Today, we'll touch upon some of the blessings and byproducts of being reconciled to God. What is Christianity? Well, it's not about a religion, it's not about going to church on Sundays, it's not about being a 'good' person, it's not about following a lot of rules, it's not about some so-called 'out of date' ideals, it's not even about wearing sandals! Not to make light of a very serious issue, but I want to shatter the misconceptions about what it is. So, what is Christianity all about? It's about the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and being able to have a personal relationship with the very Creator Himself. What is Christianity? It's the only way to know God as He intends, and to live for Him. Today, we'll review another aspect of that definition, and it's the one that says...HAVING BEEN RECONCILED TO GOD, MEN AND WOMEN MAY KNOW GOD.

Last time, we examined what it truly means to be 'born again' and explained why such a process is essential to Christianity. Today, I want to begin a new short series that asks "What Is Christianity?" for non-believers who are wondering what makes my faith unique when compared to all the others. For believers, this will be a good review in apologetics since, lately, I've been struck by the need for good, sound Biblical teaching on many subjects central to our shared faith. The Truth About Being 'Born Again'

[NOTE: Please tune in for the next podcast titled 'You vs. Me' or 'Monergism vs. Synergism' to help clarify some things said in this one...] When most non-believers think of the 'Born Againers', they think of 'narrow minded', 'self-righteous', 'religious' people. When most believers think of Born Againers, they often do everything they can to distance themselves from such a label. Why is that? Why do people on both sides hate that image? What does being 'born again' really mean according to the Bible? Why is it important? Please join us for the truth about what Christianity teaches.

Why Would A 'God Of Love' Create The Devil?

We hear it all the time: "God is Love!" The natural response by non-believers who know a little bit about Christianity is: "Ok, so then can someone please explain to me why a 'God of Love' would create a devil in the first place!?! Why would a 'God of Love' create the Devil then!?!" It's a legitimate question. It seems rather strange, doesn't it? Of course it does! As a Christian, I can admit that. Fortunately, there is an answer to that common question that is backed up by SEVERAL facts about the being known as the Devil/Satan/Lucifer. Please tune in to learn the truth.

Can The Bible Really Be Trusted?

"You mean to tell me that we're supposed to believe the outdated, wacky words of some 'god' and those who believed in him, and who wrote some book about him, thousands of years ago? No thank you! I have a brain and can't reconcile any of that with common sense." How often have we heard someone express a similar point of view in regards to the holy Scriptures? Perhaps you're someone who believes that right now. Either way, I encourage people in both groups to tune in and listen to this podcast. In these perplexing days -- when many trusted spiritual leaders have proven false; when safe places for investments are rare; when lying in politics and in day-to-day life seems to be the norm; when those you depend on the most often hurt you the deepest -- is there anything (or anyone) left you can trust? YES! You can fully trust God and His Word as preserved for us in the Holy Bible! We'll take a look at the evidence.

Twelve Words For The Twelfth Man

Did you know that an accurate, full, true presentation of the Gospel can be given to non-believers using only 12 words? Please don't misunderstand the intention here. It's not to further contribute to the "watered-down" version of the Gospel that is heard in most churches today, or the kind that merely tickles the ears, but to demonstrate the beautiful mystery of God's precious gift to us as being so simple yet so profound.

A lot of times the Gospel is reduced to a superficial formula. If you begin with perceived needs you'll always distort the Gospel. Hopefully, this will help you to include all the essentials in your personal evangelism. Twelve words. Do you know them? So, our intent with this particular study (drawn from Pastor Mike Abendroth from Bethlehem Bible Church in West Boylston, MA) is to help us Christians make sure that we have a strong grasp of the basics first before we follow the command given to us to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

It makes me think about the providential timing of this kind of study too. After all, this is the week when the world (especially this nation) will be preparing for the NFL Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers in the latest spectacle of idolatry. The "Twelfth Man" is often considered to be a football term to describe the rabid fans, or those who give their team (the Home Team) an extra "boost" by their cheering support, which helps the team get pumped up even more and focus more intensely on the task at hand, or on winning the game.

Boy, if we only applied the same kind of passion and thinking to our faith and our Lord and Savior, huh? Why is it that we don't get as "fired up" in our role as the "Twelfth Man" (the "Twelfth Disciple") whenever it comes to preaching the Gospel? You think about that this week each and every time you hear about something having to do with the Super Bowl. The point is that I believe this is an accurate and fitting analogy for us today. Please join IWTB Radio for "Twelve Words For The Twelfth Man" and share it with your family and friends this weekend.
